Tips on Furniture Assembly Flat Packs

May 11, 2017

Folding furniture is a very simple operation if you follow the basic rules. This results in less frustration and failure and eventually damage to the components.I will present you some tips that you can confidently use yourself at home.

1. Unpacking

Before unpacking you have to make sure there are enough space in the room to assemble the furniture.

After unpacking you need to familiarize yourself with the design and immediately identify and isolate components. You do the same with all the knives and scraps. They are very small so it is best to keep them in the box.

Read all the instructions, step by step.

2. Assembly

You should perform the assembly according to the instruction without skipping steps.
Elements must be folded correctly without leaving any gaps.
If you use a screwdriver or a key, gently make the last adjustment.
Do not tighten the screws and hinges until you are sure they are placed correctly.
If you need to use any adhesive or wood glue, do not use the whole tube, use only the right amount.

3. Finally

When you are sure that all elements are in place and that the hinges are well set, all screws must be tightened.
The furniture is ready to use and maintain.
